Fantastic Opportunity for Aspiring Musician

Fantastic Opportunity for Aspiring Musician

We’re incredibly excited for Year 10 student Hallelujah Selepe who’ll be performing with The Western Australian Jazz Project in the Perth Concert Hall on Friday 18 February.

Halle has an amazing voice and has been singing publicly since she was three years old!  In addition to being the lead singer in the Carey Jazz Ensemble, she played the lead role of Oliver in our high school musical production last year, is a worship leader at her church, and sings in a close harmony a cappella octet.

Head of Music, Mr Bruce Thompson said the College is delighted that Halle is getting this opportunity to perform.

“These kinds of opportunities for aspiring, talented student musicians, to perform and interact with established professional musicians, can be the ‘penny drop’ moments that propel them forward to great things in the music industry.” Mr Thompson said.

Wishing you the very best Halle!
