Secondary Outdoor Education Meets Bush School

Over the last few weeks, our Year 11 Certificate II Outdoor Recreation students at Carey Forrestdale have taught Year 6 students fire-cooking skills as part of Bush School.

The sessions have covered fire safety, circle setup, controlled fire building and campfire cooking.

The mentoring and interaction between the different age groups was a success, creating a joyful and educational experience for all.
