Year 7 Aviation Excursion
The Year 7 Aviation class recently went on their first excursion to Jandakot Airport. Students visited the Royal Aero Club where they had the chance to meet pilots and instructors, tour training facilities and learn about the aviation industry.
A highlight was sitting in the pilot’s seat of a Cessna 152 light aircraft and seeing and feeling how the controls move the rudder, elevators, ailerons and flaps. The class overwhelmingly enjoyed the experience and are looking forward to getting up in the air in Year 8.
