Morris Gleitzman visits Carey Harrisdale
We were thrilled to have award-winning author and this year’s Australian Children’s Laureate Morris Gleitzman visit our Carey Harrisdale Upper Primary students.
Students thoroughly enjoyed listening to Morris as he told them stories from his childhood and the inspiration for his books.
Many students were inspired to begin reading Morris’ harrowing but hopeful series Once, which follows the story of a young Jewish boy living in Poland during the Holocaust.
