Christmas Children’s Book Drive at our Harrisdale Library – LESS THAN TWO WEEKS TO GO!
We’ve been blown away by the beautiful children’s novels and picture books we’ve received so far for the Christmas Gift Tree at Bandyup Women’s Prison and Wandoo Rehabilitation Prison.
We’ve received books from teachers and staff, from family groups, and even from students who’ve used their own pocket money to purchase a book for someone they may never meet!
Thanks to the generosity of our wonderful Carey community, women in prison will be able to send a recorded bedtime story reading and a book to the children they can’t be with at Christmas. What a blessing this will be to mums and children alike!
There’s less than two weeks left if you’re still hoping to buy a book and bring it to the library. Our donations window will close on Friday 27 November.
