Aśka Illustration Visits our Primary School
Meet the Illustrator!
Our Library recently played host to Aśka, an amazingly vibrant, energetic and passionate illustrator.
Students in Years 1 to 3 were captivated as Aśka demonstrated how a picture could depict mood, atmosphere, sounds and emotions just as effectively as a written text could.
She encouraged students to use and activate their imaginations and ended her enthralling talk with a science experiment!
Students undoubtedly enjoyed a visual feast, testimony to the fact that Aśka’s books are flying off the library shelves!
