Year 7 Design and Technology
Our Year 7 students at Carey Forrestdale have been learning about different concepts of force, levers and simple machines as part of their Science and Design Technology studies this term.
The students have been researching concepts including viewing clips of giant scale machines.
The students submitted a report and a design for approval to their teacher. A homework project then followed for each student individually, which involved the design of a machine to be presented to an audience.
The machines were on display this morning to an audience of parents and students, and the Year 7 students demonstrated their machines to their younger peers.
