Year 10 and 12 Expedition
A few weeks ago, Carey Harrisdale’s Year 12 ATAR Outdoor Education students completed their last expedition, facilitating the Year 10 Outdoor Education classes on their first school expedition.
The expedition involved a 16km hike around Mundaring, crossing the Mundaring Weir on the Bibbulmun track, abseiling and climbing at a local quarry. Students camped at Lake Leschenaultia and cooked their own food using trangia cookers.
The Year 12 students led their own small groups and while it was hard work, they had a great time with the Year 10 students.
Thank you to our Outdoor Education team for organising and leading the expedition!
