National Simultaneous Storytime
Last Wednesday as part of National Simultaneous Storytime, some of our Primary classes across both campuses, joined NASA astronaut Dr Shannon Walker read ‘Give Me Some Space’ from the International Space Station!
National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres, homes and many other places around the country.
Students were very excited to be read to by an astronaut and particularly loved seeing her let the book float and when she exited the screen by floating upwards!
