Jennifer dances at Disneyland
Year 5 Carey Harrisdale student, Jennifer Lee, recently had the opportunity to travel to America to perform with her dance academy, Melissa Jade Academy of Dance. Jennifer was one of 17 dancers on the trip – ages varying from 10 to 28 years old.
The group performed in a number of different locations – including Universal Studios, Madame Tussauds, California Adventure Park and Disneyland – and were chosen to open and close the Disneyland showcase performances alongside several dance studios from around the world and also led the parade!
“It was an amazing and fun experience that I enjoyed for so many reasons – leading the parade, going on the helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon and going on all the fun rides at Disney. I think it improved my dancing and performance skills a lot!”
