Secondary School Bands and Ensembles
Students audition for Secondary School bands or ensembles in Term 4 for entry into the following year. Carey has many extracurricular music groups to suit all types of musicians, including jazz, contemporary bands, choir, drumcorp and more! Performing in one of these groups is always a highlight for secondary students as is attending the annual Music Camp in Term 2 (a camp strictly for students in bands who will rehearse and showcase their talents at our spectacular Ensembles Concert).
Students must be receiving one-on-one private music tuition to gain entry into a band and should commit to attending a before or after school rehearsal each week of term.
