Generations in Jazz Festival

Carey Harrisdale Music students had an amazing time at the Generations in Jazz Festival in Mount Gambier, South Australia!

Our students enjoyed playing music together, as well as spending time with one another and meeting students from schools across Australia.

Congratulations to our students who took out 2nd place today in the Division 4 Vocal Ensembles!

Congratulations also to Carey student Clayton Sampson, who was selected to be a part of the Generations in Jazz 2019 Division 3 Superband. Music Teacher Glyn MacDonald’s son, Ben MacDonald, has also been playing in the Carey Big Band and was also selected to be a part of the Superband. We are so proud of Clayton, Ben and all of our students currently performing at the Generations In Jazz Festival in Mount Gambier! We’re looking forward to hearing all about it when they get home next week!
