Students Qualify for Athletics State Championships
Two of our Primary students from Carey Forrestdale, Deshaun and Nathaniel, recently competed in the State Championship Qualifiers for Athletics.
Deshaun, one of our Year 5 students, qualified for 1500m, 400m, 800m, 80m hurdles and high jump. Nathaniel, one of our Year 4 students, qualified for 800m, 400m and 200m.
This is a brilliant result! The next step for these young athletes is to continue to train through the weeks leading up to the State Championships. We can’t wait to see them both compete!
