A Brighter Stage for Learning, Performance and Community
Whether it’s celebrating the achievements of Carey students, attending an information evening or enjoying a school production, the Carey Baptist College Harrisdale Auditorium is where our community comes together.
To further enhance these shared experiences, a new 4K LED screen display has been installed, replacing the previous projection system and providing exceptional image quality for students, families, staff and visitors from the broader community.
Supported by the State Government

The project was supported by the State Government through the Small Scale Election Commitments Funding Agreement, with the funding enabling the purchase and installation of the new 4K LED screen display.
Carey Baptist College gratefully acknowledges the support of Mr Yaz Mubarakai MLA, Member of Parliament, in making this project possible.
A Space for Learning, Celebration and Community
Throughout the year, the Harrisdale Auditorium hosts assemblies, public productions, Music Soirées, Year 12 Graduation ceremonies, information evenings, campus tours, student leadership conferences and College wide professional development days – just to name a few.
These events provide opportunities for students to perform, present, celebrate achievements and connect with the wider College community, while also welcoming prospective families and visitors to experience life at Carey.

Bringing Events to Life
Replacing the previous projector and white wall, the new 4K LED display enables performances, presentations and events to incorporate rich digital content that is clearly visible throughout the auditorium.
A great example was this year’s production of Matilda the Musical, where the screen was used to create immersive digital backdrops that transformed the stage and enhanced the audience experience.
Whether showcasing student work during an assembly, displaying presentation slides at information evenings or creating digital stage backdrops for productions, the display provides clear, high resolution visuals from every seat in the auditorium.

Supporting the Wider Community
Beyond College events, the auditorium is also available for community bookings, extending the benefit of this investment beyond the school gates. Whether hosting education, community or professional events, the upgraded space provides a safe and modern, high quality venue for the broader community to enjoy.
Carey Baptist College gratefully acknowledges the support provided through this funding, which has enabled the College to continue investing in facilities that enhance learning, creativity and community connection.
