Forrestdale Year 7 Camp
Last week our Year 7 cohort at Carey Forrestdale attended their camp in Walpole.
This camp is an amazing start to the school year for our Year 7’s, helping them build new friendships and giving them opportunities to challenge themselves in the great outdoors.
Some of the remarkable adventures they had included kayaking, hiking up Mount Frankland and Mount Clare, stargazing and going on a Wilderness boat cruise where they spotted dolphins, stingrays and even a seal.
There was also plenty of campsite hanging out, bushwalking and games in and amongst the scheduled events.
Thank you to all the staff and parent volunteers involved. With the scenic Nornalup inlet as their backdrop, it was a wonderful getaway to start the school year!
