Parents in Partnership
At Carey, we recognise that parents play the most significant part in their child’s journey to lifelong learning. Values and attitudes that parents hold towards school and learning will strongly influence the values and attitudes that their children hold, and we encourage and welcome parent involvement, providing many ways that you can be involved.
Parent Involvement (Parents in Partnership)
Parents are invited to attend the Parents in Partnership (PIP) meetings, which are advertised on the Primary Calendar. For further active involvement, please see your child’s classroom teacher if you are available to assist in any of these areas:
- Rostered help in the classroom.
- Art Room.
- Library.
- Assisting with Literacy Support.
- Special Events and Carnivals.
- Excursions and Camps.
- Fundraising Activities.
