Year 10 Participating in Rottnest Swim
This Saturday, Carey Harrisdale Year 10 Student Caitlin Golding is participating in the Rottnest Channel Solo Crossing.
It’s a mammoth 19.7km swim departing from Cottesloe Beach and is estimated to take her between 6-7 hours to complete!
Caitlin has been training for the past year, from as early as 4:30am, 5 times per week.
Her aim is to raise funds for the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation and she would welcome any contributions, great or small towards her target.
Caitlin said, “This charity is important to me as I have a close friend whose family is being directly impacted by this cancer. I hope to raise important funds to assist the Foundation in finding a cure for this disease and to make a difference to families that have been affected.”
Go Caitlin, you are incredibly brave and we will be cheering you on!
