Year 11 and 12 Work Placement
65 students in Year 11 and 12 at Carey Harrisdale have been out on work placement this term.
They have been learning valuable skills such as time management, multi-tasking, serving customers and have been able to explore different industries and career pathways.
Students have been placed in primary schools, hospitals, the retail sector, vet clinics and IT businesses, and are able to count these hours towards their WACE graduation.
Mrs April McElroy, Work Placement Liaison Officer at Carey Harrisdale, would like to congratulate all of the students who represented the College so well and those who have gained employment after this experience.
