Cert II Dance Excursion

The Carey Harrisdale Certificate II in Dance students in Year 11 and 12 recently visited the State Theatre Centre of WA to view Co3’s new dance work ‘The Line’.

Co3 is WA’s flagship contemporary dance company and this year our students had the exciting opportunity to watch them perform a 50-minute dance work.

Our students were amazed at the high quality of dance and were captivated by the set design. What an exciting opportunity for these students, to travel off campus to watch professional dancers in a world-class theatre!

Students in this course have a busy term ahead as they will be performing in the annual South of the Swan Dance Festival at UWA and watching ‘Strictly Ballroom’ at the Regal Theatre in June.
