Carey offers outstanding teachers, modern facilities and innovative programs designed to create opportunities for all students. The GATE Program supports gifted students in reaching their full potential through academically rigorous, integrated courses that focus on enrichment, challenge and connection.

Students are invited to participate in the Carey GATE Program based on their Semester reports and Year 5 NAPLAN results. Participation in the program is not dependent on receiving a scholarship.

A small number of students are awarded scholarships each year through the GATE Scholarship application process. Applications for these programs open in October.
