Getting to know your Secondary School

We recognise that many of you are already thinking ahead to your child’s transition into Secondary School, and we’re here to support you on that journey.

You and your Year 5 child are warmly invited to our upcoming Secondary School Information Evening. During the evening, our Secondary Principal, Mr Brenden Gifford, will share how the transition to Carey Secondary School is supported. You’ll also gain insights into the benefits of a Carey Secondary education, including details about our Carey GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) pathway and learning support options.

All attending families will receive a Secondary School Information Pack and have the opportunity to book one-on-one meetings to discuss their child’s individual needs.

Please note: This is an important milestone for your child. Even if they have older siblings already in Secondary School, it is essential for them to gain their own first-hand experience to help ease the transition from Primary to Secondary.

Students are not required to wear their school uniform for this event.
