Students studying Japanese visit UWA
Last Friday, Year 9 and 10 Japanese students were given an opportunity to visit the University of Western Australia to experience a variety of Japanese culture and language.
Students participated in the traditional sport of Kendo, visited the Japanese courtyard gardens and the traditional tatami room, followed by the opportunity to dress in the Japanese kimono and yukata by trained Kimono specialists. It was a fantastic way to experience a range of Japanese culture.
