An Invitation to our current Year 5 families

We recognise and appreciate that many of you are already thinking about your child’s transition into Secondary School and considering your options for this important stage of their education.

To support you in your decision-making, we are very excited to invite you to a special Year 5 Parent Coffee and Dessert Evening for Secondary School, on Thursday 27 May from 6:30 to 8:00pm in our Drama Auditorium (Building S5).

You will hear from our Secondary Principal, Mr Brenden Gifford, about how transition to Carey Secondary School takes place, the benefits of a Carey Secondary education for your child and information about our GATE (Gifted and Talented) pathway. It will also allow you to ask any questions you may have about Year 7 at Carey. Complimentary tea, coffee and dessert will also be available.

Even if you have (or have had) older children in Secondary School at Carey, it will be helpful to hear about the new developments that have recently taken place.
