Year 7 2023 Orientation Day

We are pleased to invite your son/daughter to the Orientation Day for Year 7 students commencing in 2023. The Orientation Day is designed to allow students to meet their peers and teachers, familiarise themselves with the College and have some fun!

All of the activities for Orientation Day will be held on-site. Listed below is a brief overview of the day’s activities:

Plan for the Day:

8.45 am Students arrive, register and have their photo taken The Hub
9.00am Welcome and introduction to the teachers and mentor students The Hub
9.15am Icebreaker games with Launch mentors Outdoors
9.30am Tour of the school
9.45am Teacher-led activity rotations Various
10.45am Recess
11.00am Teacher-led activity rotations Various
12.30pm Lunch
1.00pm Bush and sporting activities Outdoors
2.30pm Afternoon tea (supplied) Outdoors
2.50pm Closing The Hub
3.00pm Parent pick up The Hub

What to wear:

Students are to wear comfortable, casual clothing including suitable enclosed footwear for sporting activities and for walking through the bush. Students should also wear a hat and sunscreen.

Please also bring clearly labelled with student’s name:

  • Food for recess and lunch
  • Sunscreen
  • Hat
  • Water bottle
