Bus Services

Carey students can utilise a variety of different bus services:

  • Contracted Buswest services (Routes 1 to 4).
  • Transperth buses (#518 and #519).
  • Orange School Bus – PTA (Forrestdale North)

This service is available to all students from Year 1 upwards.

All of our contracted buses are fully air-conditioned and fitted with seatbelts.

Bus Registration

Every student travelling on either Transperth #518 or #519, contracted Routes 1, 2, 3 or 4 or on the Forrestdale North service must be registered with the College. We communicate with registered families in the event of an emergency, a delayed bus, or bus route changes.

Smartrider Information

SmartRiders are used to tag on and off our College contracted buses, as well as Transperth buses.

Primary students, use this link to download a first-time Smartrider application.

Secondary students, please order your first card through Student Reception.

Route Change Application Form

Routes 1, 2, 3 and 4 are reviewed annually, at the end of Term 1.

Replacement Smartrider

SmartRiders are used to tag on and off our College contracted buses, as well as Transperth buses.

Primary students, please contact Transperth directly to organise a replacement Smartrider.
