Vision 2010 | The Next Chapter
When Carey Baptist College Inc. came into being and a site was secured back in 1997 the dream was to build and establish a College. Now the College is into its ninth year of operation and a new vision has been established for the next chapter through 2010. The challenge that lay ahead are no smaller than those of the first chapter - they are in keeping with the College's motto - William Carey's word "Expect great things from God. Attempt great things for God."

Creating A Community
Rationale: In the hectic world in which we live, people often feel disconnected from one another. We believe that loss of community causes us all to miss out on the rich, meaningful and loving relationships that God wants us to enjoy with one another.
So we invest time and energy in developing deepening relationships through helping people connect with God, with one another, with self and with opportunities to be difference makers in their homes, community and work places.
We want to help people move from individualism and isolation, connecting across racial, educational, cultural and generational lines, to experience genuine friendship & community.
Growing Leaders
Rationale: In developing an effective, integrated K-12 Leadership Program, Carey supports Jesus' teaching and example of 'servant leadership'. Servant leadership is reflected throughout the College by all staff as we seek to serve one another, our students, their families and the wider community.
All students, regardless of age, ability or achievement, will have the opportunity to participate in a range of activities designed to develop servant leaders through relationship, community service and curriculum. It is expected that all students upon leaving school will be equipped to make a positive and valuable contribution to society.
Demonstrating Excellence, Developing Expertise
Rationale: In seeking to be a 'Center of Excellence', Carey recognises and values the outstanding contribution of all staff (teaching and non-teaching) and seeks to support them in their individual and corporate pursuit of excellence through the provision of high-quality Professional Development and opportunities for study and research.
Within state, national and international arenas Carey will seek to build strong collegiate networks, developing relationships (individually and corporately) with other educational institutions, thus creating an intellectually rich and diverse learning community.
Carey will further seek to support and grow professionals from other education institutions.
As a 'Centre of Excellence', Carey Baptist College will be a centre of repute, upholding the core College values and promoting professional integrity in all its endeavours.
